well, it was my fault i suppose. I never should have been a paralegal at a firm like that. The work was boring and there was a ton of it, and all the other kids were law school bound. It's not that I was lazy but I definitely didn't take the job as seriously as they did. BUT, that being said some of it wasn't my fault. Without intending to I pissed off a partner named Dan Kirsch who transfered me out of his department and then got me fired from the department I landed in, it was sort of a raw deal. What about yourself?

Seriously? I'd love to hear that story. I came close (i think)... the Marketing Director and I didn't always see eye to eye. What area did you work in?

Hey Martin, Best of luck in New Orleans. I was just listening to "Bigger than your Boyfriend" again. Great album, and "Monuments" always finds its way onto mix cds. Anyway, that's what brought me to your blog; I'm going to check out the Canary tracks. Take care.

[...] These are my last songs from DC and who knows what my first New Orleans effort will sound like. My hope is that whatever I make it is natural, beautiful and comforting. I have no rib to give, but I will create nonetheless. [...]

[...] My car is packed I’m ready to go. We are heading south, ending our trip in New Orleans where we’ll be living, and where I’ll be doing Canary. Dc, I love you, good luck. I’m very proud that I got my new band Canary off the ground while still living in the 202. With some luck that band will be making the trip to New Orleans with me and we’ll be playing music from Canary’s three EP’s. [...]
